Richmond Resident Shawn Borich Inducted into Albion College Athletic Hall of Fame
Albion, MI (11/02/2026) — Albion College is pleased to congratulate Richmond resident Shawn Borich, inducted earlier this month into the College's Athletic Hall of Fame. A member of the Class of 1994, Borich graduated from Albion with a degree in biological anthropology, a major he designed himself.
Borich was a two-time All-conference selection and conference champion in the 110m hurdles, one of just three Britons to ever win multiple titles in that event. As a senior, that performance earned him a trip to the NCAA Championships, where his 12th-place finish put him on the All-America second team. Shawn was an important member of Albion's 1993 and 1994 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championship teams, both of which are included in Albion's Hall of Fame.
Among his numerous professional endeavors, Borich has practiced medicine and developed urgent care and medical testing centers. He currently serves as CEO of the Roberto Clemente Health Clinic in Nicaragua, providing medical care and community health programs in a resource-limited setting.
